Buffalo Mine/Soapstone Community Council
12.31.15 Involuntary Dissolution/Revocation State
A Community Council serves as a nonprofit, voluntary, self-governing association of residents of an area. It is recognized by assembly resolution, but is not an arm of the Borough. They offer a forum for sharing community needs, shaping development plans, and advising officials. Councils help ensure that decisions reflect local priorities and provide meaningful, grassroots input on borough policies and projects.
