Ice Rinks

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough owns two ice rinks, the Brett Memorial Ice Arena and the Big Lake Lions Recreation Center.

Facilities

The Big Lake Recreation Center has been a Big Lake staple for fifteen years. It was purchased by the Borough in 2025, and reopened on Sept. 12, 2025.

The Brett is year-round ice arena located in Wasilla next to Wasilla Middle School.
