Matanuska River Park

Matanuska River Park is closed for the Season, and will reopen in May of 2026. Campsite reservations for the 2026 season begin January 1.

Mile 17 Old Glenn Highway. Eighty-seven (87) spaces for tents or RV's (40 caravan sites), central comfort station featuring flush toilets and hot showers, RV dump station, picnic tables, grills, five (5) park pavilions, playground equipment, a sand volleyball court, trails and river access, observation deck, parking areas, campfire area, firewood, and group camping area.
