Chase Comprehensive Plan

Plan Overview

The Chase area is not road accessible and a majority of the lands are owned by the state of Alaska or the Matanuska-Susitna Borough and are subject to the management guidelines contained in the Susitna Area Plan. However, over 900 parcels have passed into private control. This plan helps balance the public and private rights to access to the area and it's resources. The limited update was approved by the Chase Community Council at the July meeting and adopted by the Matanuska Susitna Borough Assembly on November 21, 2017.
