Borough Wide Weight Restrictions

Notice of Seasonal Weight Restrictions

Starting MONDAY, APRIL 7, 2025 at 1201 AM until further notice

BOROUGH WIDE 50% legal axel load.

Core area restrictions may also be enforced on city maintained roads in the City of Palmer, Wasilla, and Houston. Contact their Public Works Department for more information.

Axle loading limits are expressed as a percentage of allowable axle weight defined in 17 AAC 25.013. Weight restriction exemptions that apply to ADOT roads also apply to Borough roads.

Additional emergency restrictions may be applied. Emergency restrictions will be advertised in the Frontiersman, posted on our website: https://matsugov.us or  be posted on specific roads.
