MSB003559 - Management Agreement-Knik Museum
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB), Land & Resource Management Division, received an application from the Wasilla Knik Historical Society to renew their management agreement (5-year term) for the use of the building and property the Borough owns, commonly known as the Knik Museum and Dog Musher’s Hall of Fame. The Wasilla Knik Historical Society is a non-profit corporation established to promote the preservation of cultural and historical resources of the Wasilla and Knik areas by operating the museum and caring for the historical museum building and has managed and maintained the Borough land and the museum building since 1975.
Supporting material is available for public inspection during normal business hours on the 2nd floor of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough building in the Land Management Division or visit the Public Notice Section on the borough’s web page www.matsugov.us. Public comments are invited for this request. If you have any comments please mail or deliver them to the borough offices at the address indicated above, no later than May 2, 2026.
