MSB008304 Purinton Pkwy STH 26-02

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (Borough) Land & Resource Management Division is proposing an over-the-counter salvage timber sale on Borough-owned parcels Tax ID 16N04W03B001. This timber sale is a conversion from forestland to a non-forest land use. The 40-acre borough parcel would support a timber salvage area encompassing about 30 acres.  There are an estimated 270 cords of timber consisting of a mix of birch and spruce. The aspen component is included in the sale but not the volume.
