Transfer of a beverage dispensary liquor license from the borough into the City of Wasilla.

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly will consider the following:

The Planning Director will prepare a Best Interest Finding and make a recommendation to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly regarding the transfer of a beverage dispensary liquor license from an unincorporated area of the borough into an incorporated city. The Planning Director will consider written comments received pursuant to MSB 8.40.090.

Willow Trading Post has applied to relocate liquor license #1240, a beverage dispensary license, from the Matanuska-Susitna Borough to The Last Frontier Brewing Company within the City of Wasilla. The liquor license would be transferred from 14345 N. Willow Station Road to 238 N. Boundary Street, pursuant to MSB 8.40.060 – Review of Liquor License Referral for Relocation.

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly will conduct a public hearing concerning the application on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Borough Assembly Chambers at 350 E. Dahlia Avenue in Palmer. This may be the only presentation of this item before the Assembly, and you are invited to attend.
