Introduction
The Chickaloon SPUD is a designated special land use area established to ensure that land use aligns with the Chickaloon Comprehensive Plan and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Code Reference: MSB 17.18

Conditional Uses | Group homes, churches and related buildings, utility substations and electrical transmission lines, highway maintenance yards, commercial gravel/quarry pits over 1 acre, group camps, natural resource extraction or processing, mobile home parks, and uses causing physical changes to over 1 acre (excluding agriculture, roads, and parking lots when ancillary). |
Prohibited Uses | Junkyards, salvage yards, automobile wrecking yards, sanitary landfills, and refuse areas |
Appeals & Amendments
Interested parties may appeal planning decisions under MSB 15.39 and request SPUD changes through public hearings and Planning Commission reports (17.18.190–210).
