The Library Citizens' Advisory Committee has been sunset per OR 26-008
The Library Citizens’ Advisory Committee reviews challenged library materials and provides recommendations to Borough Administration, helping ensure community values are considered. While the committee plays a strictly advisory role, it publicly evaluates materials using a structured scoring process and submits findings to the Recreation and Library Services Manager. Comprised of Borough residents from diverse districts, the group meets at least quarterly and supports transparency through open meetings and public testimony.
