Transcarent connects you with top-rated facilities and surgeons for certain procedures including orthopedic, cardiac and women’s health, to name a few. First class travel costs are covered for you and a companion, and you pay a $0 deductible and $0 coinsurance for these surgical services. Please refer to the flyer included in the enrollment packet for more detailed information.

As a self-funded health plan, we are committed to helping members receive high-quality care while managing healthcare costs responsibly. Transcarent provides personalized support, provider recommendations, and cost information to help you make informed decisions about planned surgeries. You are not required to have your surgery through Transcarent, but you must contact them before scheduling any non-urgent surgical procedure to review your options. Members who do not contact Transcarent prior to a non-urgent surgery will incur a $200 penalty.
