Medical : The Borough offers a medical health insurance plan.
Dental : The Borough offers a dental insurance plan.
Vision: The Borough offers a vision insurance plan.
Life Insurance: Employees are provided with company-paid Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance. They also have the option to purchase additional life insurance through the State of Alaska.
Retirement: Employees are entered into Alaska Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS). Both employees and the Borough contribute.
Pre-Tax Flexible Spending Accounts: Employees have the option to direct a portion of their salary on a pre-tax basis towards accounts to pay for certain expenses. These options include:
