The Mat-Su Borough Information Technology Department is a collaborative, high-performing team dedicated to providing secure, reliable, and cost-effective IT solutions. We aim to be a trusted partner across the Borough, enhancing services through innovation and strong departmental support.

We ensure dependable access to technology, provide training, and invest strategically in infrastructure and software. Our focus includes disaster readiness and continuous improvement to support public service delivery. The department is organized into four key areas: Business Integration, GIS, Service Desk, and Technology Infrastructure.

The GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Division harnesses "the power of where" by making available the most timely and accurate mapping information to Borough departments and the public in order to bring only the highest quality of service

Business Operations

The Mat-Su Borough’s Business Operations maintains our systems running smoothly. The Service Desk supports phones, computers and software. Applications Support ensures systems work reliably. The Web Team ensures an accessible web presence.
