Libraries
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough Libraries are the five Public Libraries in the borough outside of incorporated cities. They are in Big Lake, Sutton, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek and Willow.
Our Libraries are a part of the Alaska Library Catalog (ALC). Library cards cannot be issued online for Borough Libraries. You must apply for a new library card in person at your local library (i.e. Big Lake, Sutton, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, or Willow Public Library) using a valid state ID or Driver's license to verify your identity.

Big Lake Public Library
Built in 2002 the Big Lake Public Library is located in Big Lake, Alaska and serves patrons from Houston, Knik-Goose Bay, Meadow Lakes, Willow, and Wasilla. The Library is part of the Alaska Library Network.
Trapper Creek Public Library
Trapper Creek Library serves the community of Trapper Creek located in the upper Susitna Valley 115 miles north of Anchorage.
Sutton Public Library
Located in the Matanuska Valley, the rural community of Sutton is found along the Matanuska River. A drive to our facility is worth your time, with breathtaking mountain and river views right out your car window.
Willow Public Library
The Willow Library is the hub of the community. We are a safe place for all to gather and to feel part of the greater community. We provide not only library services and programs but are an information source for Willow as a whole.
Talkeetna Public Library
The Talkeetna Public Library/Community Resource Center is located about 2 miles from downtown.
