Bed Tax
A bed tax, also known as a hotel or tourist tax, is a fee charged to guests staying in hotels, motels, and other lodging establishments. This tax is typically calculated as a percentage of the room rate and collected by the lodging facility at the time of payment.
Bed tax is 5% of the overnight rental and is collected and remitted to the borough on a quarterly basis.
Bed Tax is collected quarterly. If you provide traveler accommodations, you are required to collect the tax and file a Bed Tax Return every quarter. The return and payment are due 30 days after the last day of the quarter filed.

Go to the DSJ Building
Go to the Main Borough Building located at 350 E. Dahlia Ave. in Palmer.
Speak to the front desk in the main lobby
Once you get here, enter through the main entrance into the main lobby and speak to the front desk. Let them know why you're here and they will help you from there.

Go to one of our drop box locations.
