Business License
**Thank you for your interest in conducting business in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
As of April 3, 2024, the requirement to carry a Borough Business license has been repealed. **
Other Required Licenses
Businesses may be subject to other Borough rules and permit requirements. Among these are Borough Bed Tax, and Tobacco Excise Tax. Contact the Borough Code Compliance Division to determine applicable rules or permits.
Additionally All businesses in Alaska must have a state business license, and anyone conducting business in the city limits of Palmer, Wasilla, or Houston you are required to have city business licenses as well.
