Transportation Infrastructure Program (TIP)
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough Transportation Infrastructure Program supports the planning, development, and delivery of medium to large-scale transportation projects that enhance regional mobility, safety, and economic vitality. These projects—ranging from major road improvements and bridge replacements to multimodal corridor upgrades are made possible through a combination of Borough general funds, voter-approved bonds, and State and Federal capital funding. By leveraging diverse funding sources and aligning with the Borough Assembly’s strategic transportation goals, the program ensures that critical infrastructure investments meet current demands while preparing for future growth across the Borough.
