Fire and Life Safety Division

Our mission is to prevent the loss of life and property from fire and explosion.

We conduct all fire and life safety plan reviews and inspections, as well as, fire prevention and education activities for the Central Mat-Su Fire Service Area (FSA).

Every commercial structure in the fire service area where people work, play or spend time is subject to annual inspection. Private residences are NOT subject to inspections by the fire department. To check your property FSA, search by owner or address at myProperty.
